टाइल एडहेसिव एक ऐसा तैयार मटेरियल है, जिसका इस्तेमाल टाइल को फर्श या दीवार पर मजबूती से चिपकाने के लिए किया जाता है।
आसान भाषा में समझें तो:
जब मिस्त्री टाइल लगाता है, तो टाइल के पीछे और जिस जगह टाइल लगानी है, उसके बीच टाइल एडहेसिव की एक परत लगाई जाती है। फिर टाइल को सही जगह पर दबाकर सेट किया जाता है। सूखने के बाद टाइल अपनी जगह पर मजबूती से पकड़ बना लेती है।
क्या मिस्त्री इसे "Tile Chemical" कहते हैं?
हाँ, कई मिस्त्री और दुकानदार इसे सामान्य भाषा में "Tile Chemical" या "Tile Adhesive Chemical" भी कहते हैं।
लेकिन इसका सही नाम Tile Adhesive (टाइल एडहेसिव) है।

जैसे कागज चिपकाने के लिए हम गोंद का इस्तेमाल करते हैं, उसी तरह टाइल को चिपकाने और पकड़ बनाए रखने के लिए Tile Adhesive का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।

When a tile mason installs a tile, tile adhesive is applied between the tile and the surface. The tile is then properly positioned and pressed into place. After it sets, the adhesive helps the tile stay firmly fixed.
Tile Workers call it "Tile Chemical"?
Yes. In common market language, many tile masons and dealers call it Tile Chemical" or "Tile Adhesive Chemical.

- काम ज्यादा व्यवस्थित होता है – सीमेंट और रेत को अलग-अलग मिलाने की जरूरत कम हो जाती है क्योंकि adhesive तैयार formulation में आता है।

① टाइल का Size — Tile Size
टाइल जितनी बड़ी होगी, adhesive का selection उतना ही important होगा।
- छोटी टाइल → सामान्य grade adhesive
- 600×600 mm → सामान्य/standard grade
- 600×1200 mm → higher grade adhesive
- 800×1600 mm या बड़ी टाइल → large-format tile के लिए suitable adhesive
- बहुत बड़ी slab → slab/large-format application के लिए suitable adhesive
② टाइल कहाँ लगानी है? — Where is the Tile Being Installed?
- घर का Floor → suitable floor adhesive
- Wall → wall के लिए suitable adhesive
- Bathroom → suitable moisture-resistant application
- Balcony / Terrace → ज्यादा suitable grade चुनें
- Swimming Pool → pool application के लिए suitable adhesive
- Outdoor Area → outdoor conditions के लिए suitable grade
③ टाइल का Type — Tile Type
देखें कि टाइल:
- Ceramic है?
- Vitrified है?
- Porcelain है?
- Large-format tile है?
- Slab है?
हर टाइल के लिए एक ही adhesive सही नहीं होता।
Tile Size + Tile Type + Installation Area = सही Tile Adhesive
यानी मिस्त्री को सिर्फ यह नहीं देखना चाहिए कि "कौन सा adhesive सस्ता है?"
उसे पहले पूछना चाहिए:
टाइल कितनी बड़ी है?
टाइल किस प्रकार की है?
टाइल कहाँ लगानी है?
इन 3 सवालों के जवाब मिलने के बाद सही Tile Adhesive Grade select किया जा सकता है।

① Tile Size
The bigger the tile, the more important the adhesive selection becomes.
- Small tiles → Standard suitable adhesive
- 600×600 mm → Standard grade
- 600×1200 mm → Higher grade may be suitable
- 800×1600 mm or larger → Adhesive suitable for large-format tiles
- Very large slabs → Slab/large-format tile adhesive
② Installation Area
Where will the tile be installed?
- Floor → Suitable floor adhesive
- Wall → Suitable wall adhesive
- Bathroom → Suitable for wet-area application
- Balcony / Terrace → More suitable grade
- Swimming Pool → Adhesive suitable for pool application
- Outdoor Area → Adhesive suitable for outdoor conditions
③ Tile Type
Check whether the tile is:
- Ceramic
- Vitrified
- Porcelain
- Large-format tile
- Slab
One adhesive is not necessarily suitable for every type of tile and application.

"Which adhesive is cheaper?"
First ask:
What is the tile size?
What type of tile is it?
